Ontario Canada Has New Laws for Scooter and Mopeds

Ontario scooter and moped riders willl be required to taken specific a written test, as well as a road test in order to obtain a license to ride their vehicles. Previous laws allowed riders with a regular drivers license to operate scooters and mopeds. The written test law went into effect in November, 2005 and the road test will begin in the Spring of 2006.
